Electric Fuel Pump
Electric fuel pumps are usually found on modern cars. These pumps are better than the mechanical variety because they maintain the fuel under constant pressure regardless of engine speed, promote easy starting, and minimize vapor lock problems. They have fewer moving parts than mechanical pumps and are easier to replace if necessary. These pumps are typically located at the rear underside of the vehicle, inside or outside the fuel tank.
